HOW I ALL BEGAN:

It was a Tuesday morning, September 16, 2008, around 6:45 AM, I was four days late. My mom had a contraction. Six minutes later, another. Three minutes later, another. She called my dad at the gym and said the contractions were between three and six minutes apart. He was on his way back home. Then the contractions came steadily three minutes apart. She called my dad again. Yeah, he should probably hurry. And so he did. They got my mom dressed, my sister dressed, called my Grandma Carol to meet them at the hospital to pick up Lane. They officially checked in at the hospital at 7:58 AM. I was born at 8:16 AM. Yes, folks, that's with 18 minutes to spare. I weighed 8 lbs even and was 21" long. I had tons of light brown hair, perfect skin and dark blue eyes.
